Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract)

Location: Leeds - on-site role
Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our agile delivery team. You will design, implement, and support automated solutions, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role involves technical leadership and hands-on engineering, with a focus on developing and mentoring other DevOps Engineers.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience in a DevOps environment, with a strong emphasis on Continuous Integration & Deployment.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms (RHEL/CentOS) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go).
• Proven experience with AWS cloud-based application platforms.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI & Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, and Cloud-Init.
• Experience leading in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

Desirable Technical Skills:

• Deep technical knowledge in at least two of the following: MongoDB/Atlas, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, ECS/Fargate, Kubernetes, Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and more.
