A highly respected and consistently top-ranked law firm is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its award-winning Employment, Immigration & Pensions team. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work on complex, premium-level matters for high-profile clients within a collaborative, collegiate environment.
The Role
You'll be part of a leading team handling a diverse mix of contentious and non-contentious work. Matters include:
- Advising on employee relations and HR strategy
- Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and senior executive service agreements
- Supporting corporate transactions and commercial outsourcing (including TUPE)
- Advising on restructures, redundancies, and termination of employment
- Working closely with colleagues on immigration and pensions matters for business clients
The team acts predominantly for employers, including well-known national and international brands, while also advising senior executives on exits and negotiated settlements.
The Team
You'll be joining a growing group of over 15 specialist lawyers, including partners, senior associates, knowledge lawyers, and trainees. The team is known for its inclusive and supportive culture, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and strong commercial focus.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years' PQE in employment law
- Experience advising employers on a range of HR and employment law issues
- Proven expertise in both contentious and non-contentious work
- Experience supporting corporate transactions and M&A
- Ability to advise senior executives on terminations and settlement agreements
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercially minded with strong interpersonal and client care abilities
- Highly organised, responsive, and collaborative
- Comfortable managing a varied and busy caseload independently
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be a plus:
- TUPE and outsourcing matters
- Agency worker regulations and employment businesses
- Business immigration and sponsor compliance
- Pensions issues
- Regulatory aspects of employment in the financial services sector
