A leading, Legal 500 and Chambers ranked, national law firm is looking to recruit a talented Corporate Solicitor to join its expanding Tier 1 Corporate team in Reading. The firm is renowned for its balance of high-quality work and clients while cultivating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Role Overview
The Corporate Solicitor will be involved in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements. Key responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on complex corporate matters, including private equity, M&A, and restructuring
• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of corporate documents
• Building strong client relationships and providing strategic business advice
• Collaborating with cross-departmental teams and supporting senior solicitors on high-value transactions
• Contributing to the growth of the practice through business development activities

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in corporate law, ideally gained within a recognised corporate team
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• A proactive approach to business development and client management
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• An ambition to develop professionally within a top-tier law firm
