The Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and successful Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Conveyancing Executive to take ownership of a varied residential property caseload while benefiting from dedicated support and a collaborative team environment.

The Role

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring exceptional client service throughout the transaction process.

Your caseload will include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of Equity
• New build transactions
• Shared Ownership matters
• General residential conveyancing work

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a residential property caseload independently
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other stakeholders
• Handling matters from instruction through to post-completion
• Maintaining files in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and proactively
• Managing financial targets and billing requirements
• Delivering exceptional levels of client care
• Supporting business development and networking activities
• Maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge and industry best practice

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancing Executive
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience managing their own residential conveyancing caseload
• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of residential property transactions
• Have a sound understanding of conveyancing procedures, CQS requirements and Anti-Money Laundering regulations
• Possess strong communication and client relationship skills
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
• Have experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Experience of quality standards and accredited conveyancing processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
