About this role
As part of a top-ranked team, the successful candidate will advise on a wide range of antitrust and competition law matters, including:
- Merger control (UK and EU)
- Cartel investigations
- Abuse of dominance and market power issues
- Private damages actions
- Regulatory advice under the UK's National Security and Investment Act
You'll work alongside a close-knit team of over 45 antitrust lawyers across the UK, US, Brussels, France, and Germany, each with a deep focus on competition law and up-to-date knowledge of enforcement trends, policy changes, and complex case law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling matters before the European Commission and UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)
- Advising multinational clients across industries including technology, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, consumer goods, and defence
- Supporting complex cross-border transactions and investigations
- Delivering commercial, strategic advice on high-stakes regulatory issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2 - 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) as a competition/antitrust lawyer
- Qualified in England & Wales
- Strong academic background with a high level of technical ability
- Experience from a top-tier law firm with exposure to UK and EU competition law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with native-level English
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, international environment
