Commercial Real Estate Associate Solicitor - Uxbridge or Reading
A leading law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Commercial Real Estate team in either Uxbridge or Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking firm, delivering high-quality legal services to clients both regionally and across the UK.

The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the team leader (partner) and a strong team of solicitors, handling a diverse range of commercial real estate matters.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales and purchases of commercial property
  • Property investment and asset management
  • Development transactions, including site assembly and planning agreements
  • Negotiating leases and leasehold documentation
  • Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts and option agreements
  • Secured lending transactions

This role involves high levels of client contact, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience, while also playing a key role in business development and the strategic growth of the practice.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (4+ years PQE) with strong technical expertise in commercial real estate
  • Proven experience managing high-value property transactions
  • Ability to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice
  • Strong file and risk management skills
  • Experience in business development and building client relationships
  • IT proficiency, including experience with document management and case management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Any local connections or a following would be an advantage but are not essential.
