Position: Associate/Senior Associate (2-5PQE)

Location: London (hybrid)

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and committed Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded team in London, specialising in complex and high-value claimant work.

This Clinical Negligence department widely recognised for its expertise in representing individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries as a result of medical negligence.

The team handles a broad range of complex and high-value claims, including birth injuries, brain and spinal injuries, surgical errors, and delayed diagnoses. Renowned for its client-focused approach, the team is dedicated to achieving justice and securing the best possible outcomes for clients, often in cases involving sensitive and challenging circumstances

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injuries such as birth injury, spinal injury, delayed diagnosis, and surgical negligence cases.
  • Conduct matters from initial enquiry through to settlement or trial, with appropriate supervision for larger claims.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of medical records and expert evidence to progress cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to the team's profile through business development activities, supporting client relationships and wider marketing initiatives.

The Person

  • Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE and strong claimant clinical negligence experience.
  • Confident in managing your own caseload with sensitivity, professionalism, and strategic insight.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable clients and their families.
  • A collaborative approach, supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
