About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to take a leading role in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Node.js and Python.
• Build and optimize cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and more.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance across backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver impactful features.
• Drive best practices in software development, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and microservices architecture, preferably in AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Start-up experience is a must - candidates must have a proven track record of working in early-stage or scaling tech companies.
• Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders - Work Authorization is required.
