Search are delighted to partner with a SME company based in South Birmingham to recruit for a Management Accountant. The role will join a tenured finance team and report to the Financial Controller. This business has experienced huge success with growth over the last 12 months and would like to add an additional member to their team.

This is a permanent opportunity and study support is offered for ACCA, CIMA or ACA.

This role is suitable to a candidate with strong analytical skills as well as technical accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Other aspects include:

• Month end closure and balance sheet reconciliation for 6 companies.
• Journals, prepayments and accruals.
• Help deliver strategy and goals to the wider business
• Year end statutory accounts
• Financial analysis
• Month end accounts and board reporting

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have excellent Excel skills
• Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
• Have ability to meet multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude, flexible approach and a passion to learn
• Wanting to grow and develop and join a fast faced environment.

Salary is £37,500 - Full study support plus excellent company benefits including bonus.
