The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join a busy and dynamic Residential Property team. You will manage a high-value caseload across sales, purchases, remortgages, shared ownership, and lease extensions. This is a hands-on role offering autonomy, client-facing responsibility, and opportunities to mentor junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a substantial caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle complex transactions, including shared ownership, voluntary lease extensions, and remortgages.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and related legal documents.
• Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely completion.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior solicitors and paralegals.
• Contribute to the growth of the department through business development and client relationship management.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified solicitor with 5-8 years' post-qualification experience in residential property/conveyancing.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to handle complex and high-value transactions.
• Proven track record of managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent client care, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Familiarity with case management systems and SDLT/ Land Registry procedures.
