Employment Associate | London
I'm working with a highly regarded international law firm with a long-established reputation for complex disputes, particularly within the insurance, transport, healthcare and industrial sectors. The firm is consistently recognised by both Chambers and Legal 500, with multiple Band 1 and Tier 1 rankings across its core practice areas.
The Role
You will advise a broad mix of insurer and corporate clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters:
* Employment tribunal litigation, including complex and high-value discrimination and whistleblowing claims
* Employment practices liability (EPL) defence work acting for insurers and insured organisations
* Advisory support on restructures, disciplinaries, grievances and strategic HR risk management
* Industrial relations and workforce issues, particularly within regulated or operational sectors
* Supporting corporate transactions with employment due diligence and risk analysis
* Working with colleagues across the firm's international network on multi-jurisdictional workforce issues, particularly where claims' risks span multiple territories
The Candidate
The team is looking for a commercially minded employment lawyer who enjoys litigation and wants to deepen sector expertise.
Requirements:
* 1-5 years' PQE in employment law
* Strong tribunal experience and confidence managing matters with appropriate supervision
* Interest in complex disputes, regulated sectors or insurance-related work
