A growing and well-regarded law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor to join its expanding Conveyancing team in Brighton.

The Role

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload, working closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. The position offers a high level of client contact and the opportunity to become an integral part of a growing property team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a range of residential property transactions, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Providing exceptional client care and regular communication throughout the transaction process
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Supporting the continued growth and success of the residential property department
• Assisting with the development of junior colleagues where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
• Ideally 1-2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
