A growing and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its expanding Residential Property team.

This opportunity offers the flexibility of fully remote working while providing access to a well-established conveyancing department with a strong reputation for client service and quality work. The firm is looking for a lawyer who genuinely enjoys residential conveyancing and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.

The Role: Residential Property Lawyer

You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining excellent client service standards while contributing to the continued growth and success of the residential property department. The position offers significant autonomy alongside the support, systems and infrastructure needed to perform at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handling matters including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • General residential conveyancing transactions
• Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders and other third parties throughout the transaction process.
• Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Maintaining accurate matter records and utilising case management systems effectively.
• Contributing to departmental growth through outstanding service delivery and professional reputation.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience within residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for residential property law and client service.
