Product Designer - Fintech - London Hybrid - 12 months (Umbrella engagement only)
I am partnering with a well-known Fintech who are looking for an experienced Product Designer to help build out their subscriber services.
This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with product, engineering, research, and commercial stakeholders.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will take ownership of design activity across a programme shaping the future freemium services. You'll work end-to-end across research, UX and UI, helping define opportunities, streamline journeys, and deliver commercial design solutions that create an impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading discovery and user research around freemium approaches, pricing options, and monetisation opportunities
- Experience of feature gating would be preferred.
- Designing full user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI to communicate premium value and subscription pathways
- Working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment between design and commercial aims
- Organising and running workshops, ideation sessions, and co-creation activities to define future customer experiences
- Delivering high-quality work in Figma from initial exploration to refined output
- Ensuring accessibility, usability, and compliance are embedded throughout design work
- Improving subscription management journeys, including cross-sell, upsell, and cancellation flows
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience designing digital products, ideally within e-commerce or subscription-based SaaS
- Previous experience of Freemium servces, feature gating, etc. would be a distinct advantage
- Confident across UX and UI from concept to delivery
- Strong ability to shape ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, and explore multiple design solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
- High proficiency in Figma and familiarity with whiteboarding tools
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating feature gating or subscription-related work are advantageous
Flexibility to work 2 days onsite with occassional travel to other UK offices.
