Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive - Bournemouth

Location: Bournemouth
Experience: 4+ PQE
Salary: £60,000+ DOE
Working: Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home

A highly regarded Dorset law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing Bournemouth team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client lawyer to step into an established and active caseload from day one. A senior member of the team is leaving due to a change in personal circumstances, creating the opportunity to inherit an existing client base and busy caseload rather than having to build a practice from scratch.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters
• Tax and succession planning
• More complex estates involving trusts, business interests and property portfolios
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts

You will take responsibility for an established caseload while continuing to develop your own client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

About You

The firm is looking for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4+ PQE who is confident managing their own caseload and delivering high-quality client service.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong experience across Private Client work
• The ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Experience with trusts and/or more complex estates
• Strong technical and client care skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships
