Due to continued growth within the private client department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join the team.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and provide expert legal advice to a loyal and established client base. This position offers excellent scope for career development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
• Drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and Trust documentation.
• Advising clients on estate planning and inheritance tax considerations.
• Managing probate and estate administration matters.
• Advising on trusts and succession planning.
• Dealing with Court of Protection matters where appropriate.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development and networking activities.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.

About you

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx), or experienced Private Client Fee Earner.
• Ideally 2+ years' PQE, although candidates with relevant experience outside this range are encouraged to apply.
• Experience handling wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and estate administration matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of private client law.
