The Opportunity
A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Partner to join its established and successful Family Law team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior family lawyer to take a leading role within a collaborative and ambitious practice. Working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families and professionals, you will advise on a broad range of complex and high-value family matters while helping shape the future direction of the team.
The role offers autonomy, high-quality work, strong referral networks, and the opportunity to play a key role in business development, client relationship management and mentoring the next generation of legal talent.
The Role
You will advise clients on a wide variety of family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Complex financial remedy proceedings
- High-net-worth and high-asset cases
- Children matters, including relocation disputes
- Cohabitation and relationship disputes
- Agricultural and rural family matters
- Wealth protection and family succession-related issues
Alongside your caseload, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value clients and matters
- Develop and strengthen professional referrer relationships
- Support the strategic growth of the Family department
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers
- Contribute to business development and networking initiatives
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients through often complex and sensitive matters

About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced Family Solicitor with significant post-qualification experience
- Have a strong track record advising high-net-worth individuals and families
- Be confident handling complex financial remedy and children matters
- Have experience developing and maintaining referrer relationships
- Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring and team development skills
- Possess excellent commercial awareness and business development capability
- Be a skilled communicator with exceptional client care skills
- Show sound judgement, empathy and strong technical expertise
