We are recruiting two experienced Project Managers to support a major technology programme within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
One position requires current SC clearance and UK citizenship. The second position only requires candidates to be eligible for BPSS screening.
The Project Managers will take responsibility for delivering complex technology and application projects involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, suppliers and external dependencies. They will manage projects through the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring effective control of scope, budgets, milestones, risks, issues and change.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams across multiple locations
- Defining project scope, requirements, deliverables and acceptance criteria
- Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets and delivery forecasts
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies and change control
- Monitoring project costs, revenue, margins and resource requirements
- Managing third-party suppliers and external dependencies
- Engaging senior stakeholders and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Coordinating testing, service acceptance and the handover into live operations
- Re-planning and re-baselining projects when delivery requirements change
Required experience:
- A strong track record delivering complex technology or application projects
- Experience managing projects valued at approximately £1m-£2m
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of up to 20 people
- Strong project governance, financial management and commercial awareness
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, suppliers and dependencies
- Excellent stakeholder, communication and relationship-management skills
- Experience working in structured, agile or hybrid delivery environments
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, PLM, ERP, CAD or EAM environments would be particularly valuable. Exposure to eQube, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, IBM DOORS, Cameo or SAP would also be advantageous but is not essential.
A recognised project management qualification would be beneficial.
The roles are expected to be remote, although candidates should be willing to travel occasionally if required.
The rate is approximately £450-£500 per day Inside IR35, with some flexibility available for an exceptional candidate.
