Private Client Solicitor - 5+ PQE | Putney (Agile Working)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client lawyer to join a highly regarded team based in Putney. This position would suit someone with around 5 years' PQE, strong academics, and a genuine desire to deepen their expertise across the full spectrum of private client work.
You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative department with a reputation for excellence, advising a diverse client base including HNW families, UK and international individuals, and long-standing private wealth clients. The role provides exposure to complex and rewarding work, alongside meaningful career development within a structured progression framework.
Key Responsibilities
You'll handle a broad, high-quality caseload including:
- Taxable estates and complex estate administration
- Will drafting and inheritance tax planning
- Advising on trusts
- Drafting LPAs
- Court of Protection applications and deputyship matters
- Managing your own client relationships and supervising more junior team members
- Working closely with related practice areas including estate disputes, corporate, property, and family teams
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Ideally 5+ years PQE in Private Client
- Strong academics (2:1 or above preferred)
- Solid experience across estate administration, trusts, LPAs, IHT and CoP work
- Confident client-handling skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
- A proactive approach to professional development
- Experience supervising or supporting junior colleagues
- A genuine team-focused mindset
Agile working is available, with the option to work from home for up to 40% of your time each month. Occasional travel to other offices may be required depending on client needs.
