A long-established, multi-office firm in East London is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to step into a leadership-level role within their thriving Commercial Conveyancing department. This position is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer ready to take on strategic responsibility, lead a team, and drive departmental growth.
The Role:
You will handle a high-quality caseload of commercial conveyancing matters including:
- Sales and acquisitions of freehold and leasehold commercial premises
- Commercial leases (grant, renewal, assignment, surrender)
- Landlord & tenant matters
- Portfolio management
- Development sites and mixed-use transactions
- Secured lending and refinancing
- Business sales/purchases involving property assets
You will also play a key part in:
- Departmental leadership and supervision
- Business development and client relationship management
- Driving revenue growth and improving team processes
- Acting as a senior adviser to longstanding commercial clients
About You:
- An experienced Commercial Property Solicitor at Senior Associate, Lead, or Director level
- Confident managing complex transactions independently
- Strong client development, networking and leadership skills
- Desire to help shape the future of the department
- Local knowledge of East London/Essex markets is advantageous but not essential
