Role: Senior User Researcher, Fixed Term Contractor

Day Rate: £450-500

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior User Researcher who will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and analysis of user research to ensure that our products and services are user-centric and evidence-based. As we embark on a large scale transformation project it is vital that we deliver for our users and the successful candidate will be expected to champion a user centric approach.
The role sits within our Research and Analytics Department and as such you will work closely with Data Analysts to help turn data into clear actionable insights. Furthermore, you will work closely with Product Managers, Service Designers and Technical Leads to help shape strategy, validate decisions, and champion the voice of the user throughout the delivery lifecycle.
It is expected that the successful candidate will conduct research using a variety of industry standard methodologies that align to business outcomes. A comprehensive research repository will be expected to be developed and maintained throughout ensuring that insights are routinely accessible to key stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in user research within large scale projects
• Evidence of designing and leading on multiple research activities
• Proven analytical and synthesis skills which enable data to be transformed into actionable insights which can be presented in an intuitive manner to stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with key stakeholders and users from all levels of Government to understand their needs
• Ability to define and measure user outcome performance metrics to evidence user impact throughout a project delivery lifecycle
