Trusts & Probate Solicitor - 3+ PQE

We are currently working with a well-regarded firm seeking a Trusts and Probate Solicitor to join their Private Client department. This is a key role within an experienced team, offering a broad and interesting caseload with opportunities for ongoing development.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of private client matters, with a focus on:

• Probate and estate administration, including both non-taxable and complex taxable estates (IHT400 and associated schedules).
• Intestate estates, requiring a thorough understanding of intestacy rules.
• Trust work, including the creation and administration of life interest and discretionary trusts, and advising on their tax implications.
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients, often including older individuals and high-net-worth clients.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in probate and trusts.
• Have strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach.
• Be comfortable working independently, while also contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Possess strong organisational and communication skills.
• STEP membership (or a willingness to work towards it) is desirable but not essential.
