Tech BD Manager - Teleco Solutions for Hospitality
Field based (Onsite as required)
Up to £65,000 base depending on experience with OTE

My client is seeking an experienced, driven, and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead their growth efforts in the hospitality sector, focusing on delivering innovative teleco solutions to hotels, resorts, and hospitality groups. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who understands the critical role of telecommunications in enhancing guest experience, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities, positioning teleco products-including voice, data, internet, and unified communication's as essential infrastructure for modern hospitality operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Teleco Sales in Hospitality: Target and secure new business with hotel chains, boutique hotels, resorts, and hospitality management firms. Promote teleco solutions that meet their specific needs, including high-speed internet, Wi-Fi infrastructure, IP telephony ect.
  • Hospitality-Centric Prospecting & Qualification: Develop a strong pipeline by identifying key decision-makers in hospitality IT and operations.
  • Strategic Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and property-level stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Directors, GMs, and Facilities Managers. Establish trust by demonstrating deep knowledge of both telecom and hospitality demands.
  • Tailored Proposals & Contract Negotiation: Develop compelling, customised proposals and ROI-driven business cases. Negotiate agreements that reflect client priorities while ensuring profitable growth for the business.
  • Industry Visibility & Partnerships: Represent the company at hospitality and teleco industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Develop and nurture partnerships with system integrators, consultants, and technology providers within the hospitality space.
  • Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales lifecycle via CRM, delivering timely forecasts, activity updates, and strategic insights to senior leadership. Maintain high standards of reporting accuracy and accountability.

What You'll Bring:

  • A successful track record in selling telco solutions into the hospitality industry, including experience with voice/data infrastructure, managed services, and cloud-based communication platforms.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the role of teleco in guest satisfaction and property performance.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive-level negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Commercial acumen with a relentless drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced telco or technology businesses.
  • Resilient, self-starting, and able to thrive in an evolving, customer-focused environment.
