  • Trusts approaching termination or no longer fulfilling their original purpose
  • Trust wind-ups and strategic tax planning
  • Monitor key deadlines (e.g. ten-year anniversary charges, entitlements)
  • Provide support on trust accounting and Inheritance Tax returns (with team support)
  • Work on charitable trust matters in collaboration with a specialist charities team
  • Support trust registration and compliance projects (e.g. TRS)
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to technical training and internal know-how
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals within a wider succession and tax practice, including estate planning, probate, and Court of Protection specialists

    Candidate Profile
    The ideal candidate will have:
    • A relevant professional qualification (Solicitor, CILEX, STEP, ATT, CTA or equivalent)
    • At least 5 years' experience in a trust or private client advisory role
    • Solid technical expertise in trust administration and UK tax legislation
    • Strong matter management and client care skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities
    • Confidence managing complex matters with minimal supervision
    • A client-focused and commercially aware approach
    • IT proficiency and familiarity with digital case management tools

    What's on Offer
    • A hybrid working model, with 2-3 office days per week
    • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (30 hours minimum)
    • A strong platform for professional growth in a respected and busy practice
    • Exposure to a broad range of high-quality private client and trust matters
    • Supportive team culture and excellent work-life balance
