Solutions Architect - Public Sector - Active SC Clearance - Telford (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)

I have an immediate opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join an ongoing programme with our consultancy client for a government department.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates who hold active SC clearance would be preferred.

You will own the solution design through delivery, manage technical risk in live services, and drive the technical resolution of high-profile and major incidents.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have :

• Proven experience as a Solution/Solutions Architect in complex, multi-service environments, ideally for public sector / government clients.
• Broad experience across public and/or private cloud and related business solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure) and associated best practices.
• Strong technical problem management skills, including ownership of incident and problem resolution.
• Experience working with agile development teams through all phases of the solution lifecycle.
• Credibility and confidence in advising senior stakeholders, with the ability to become a trusted technical advisor.
• Excellent relationship management skills, including with vendors and third parties.
• Ability to understand and articulate key technical risks and operational requirements.
• Flexibility to work 2 days onsite in Telford weekly.
