Server & Storage Engineer - VxRail / VMware

Our prestigious client is looking for an experienced Server & Storage Engineer to support critical infrastructure projects on a 4-month contract. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server, VxRail, and VMware, with a focus on operational stability, system upgrades, and environment optimisation.

This role will involves overseas travel for 50% of the duration of the contract so you will need to hold a European passport.

Key responsibilities -

• Manage and support Windows Server environments including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Administer and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure and virtualized environments.

• Support and manage Dell EMC VxRail systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams on ongoing projects.

• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

This role is an Umbrella only contract which will require 3 days per week on client site in Hampshire when not travelling
