Associate / Senior Associate - Serious Injury

Salary: £50,000-£90,000 DOE
Working Pattern: Hybrid / Flexible considered

A top-tier regional firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) to join its specialist Serious Injury Team in Southampton.

This is an opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading claimant personal injury teams, handling complex, high-value and often multi-million-pound catastrophic injury cases within a genuinely collaborative structure.

The Team

The Serious Injury team handles complex matters including:

• Adult brain injury

• Child brain injury

• Complex orthopaedic injury (including amputation)

• Fatal incidents and inquests

Work is delivered through small Partner-led teams rather than siloed caseloads, ensuring collective expertise and strong support on every matter.

The Role

• Work on complex, high-value serious injury claims

• Support and collaborate within Partner-led teams

• Build strong relationships with clients and their families

• Provide empathetic, practical and strategic advice

• Contribute to delivering exceptional client outcomes

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

• Ideally 4+ years' experience within personal injury

• Exposure to catastrophic or complex injury matters preferred

• Calm under pressure and highly organised

• Naturally empathetic and confident with vulnerable clients

• Collaborative, proactive and commercially aware
