A leading, specialist intellectual property law firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Transactional IP Solicitor (4-8 PQE) to join its established and growing IP transactions team in London.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a central role in advising on the commercial exploitation and protection of IP rights, working on a broad range of transactional and strategic matters.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, negotiating, and advising on IP-rich commercial agreements, including licences, collaboration and R&D agreements, assignments, and coexistence agreements
• Advising on the IP aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, and joint ventures
• Supporting clients on strategic IP portfolio management, risk allocation, and value creation
• Working closely with patent and trade mark attorneys as part of multidisciplinary deal teams
• Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team

Candidate Profile

The firm is keen to hear from solicitors who:

• Are qualified in England & Wales with 4-8 years' PQE in transactional IP and commercial work
• Have solid experience across a range of IP-driven commercial agreements and transactions
• Are commercially minded, pragmatic, and confident dealing directly with clients
• Are comfortable managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with colleagues
• Have strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
