Senior Transactional IP Solicitor (4-8 PQE)
Location: London
A leading, specialist intellectual property law firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Transactional IP Solicitor (4-8 PQE) to join its established and growing IP transactions team in London.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a central role in advising on the commercial exploitation and protection of IP rights, working on a broad range of transactional and strategic matters.
Responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on IP-rich commercial agreements, including licences, collaboration and R&D agreements, assignments, and coexistence agreements
- Advising on the IP aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, and joint ventures
- Supporting clients on strategic IP portfolio management, risk allocation, and value creation
- Working closely with patent and trade mark attorneys as part of multidisciplinary deal teams
- Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
Candidate Profile
The firm is keen to hear from solicitors who:
- Are qualified in England & Wales with 4-8 years' PQE in transactional IP and commercial work
- Have solid experience across a range of IP-driven commercial agreements and transactions
- Are commercially minded, pragmatic, and confident dealing directly with clients
- Are comfortable managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Have strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
