Senior Solicitor / Associate / Partner (5+ PQE) - Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts

A leading regional law firm with a strong reputation across the Thames Valley is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (Senior Associate or Partner level) to join its well-regarded Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team. This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior position within a highly ranked department, offering both quality of work and clear progression.
The role
You will manage and grow your own caseload of high-value and complex private client matters, including:

• Drafting and advising on Wills and lifetime planning
• Estate administration and probate matters
• Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
• Creation and administration of trusts
• Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications

You will also have the opportunity to supervise junior lawyers, contribute to business development initiatives, and play an active role in the growth of the department. Depending on your experience, this role is available at Senior Solicitor, Associate or Partner level.

About you

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE in Private Client law
• Experience in handling complex and high-value Wills, Probate, Trusts and Tax matters
• Ideally STEP qualified or working towards this (preferred but not essential)
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
• Experience in mentoring or supervising junior colleagues (advantageous for senior levels)
