Senior Associate - Private Client

We are working with a highly regarded, award-winning London law firm to recruit a Salaried Partner / Senior Associate to join its well-established Private Client department.
The firm is known for its strong reputation, diverse client base, and commitment to excellence across its practice areas. It advises a broad range of clients, including private individuals, public figures, NGOs, and businesses, and is consistently recognised by the legal directories.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Private Client team at a senior level and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

The Role

This is a pivotal, senior position offering a blend of technical private client work, leadership, and business development.
You will:

• Advise on a broad spectrum of private client matters, including Wills, Estate Administration, Probate, Trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection work
• Take an active role in business development and client relationship management
• Mentor and support junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the Private Client department
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless service to clients

The team is well-resourced, supportive, and structured to allow senior lawyers to focus on high-value advisory and leadership work.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is likely to have:

• At least 10 years' PQE in Private Client work
• Strong technical expertise across core private client matters
• STEP qualification (preferred)
• A proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
• Experience contributing to, or leading, business development initiatives
• The confidence and interpersonal skills to lead, mentor, and inspire others
• A self-sufficient, motivated, and commercially minded approach

This role would suit an ambitious Senior Associate ready to step into a salaried partner-style position, or an existing Salaried Partner seeking a new challenge within a respected London firm.
