Private Client Solicitor - 5+ PQE - Whitechapel, London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join a highly respected Legal 500 and Lexcel-accredited London law firm at their Whitechapel office. This is a chance to work within a top-ranked private client team that is recognised for its expertise in tax, trusts, probate, and Court of Protection matters.

The successful candidate will manage a varied and high-quality caseload, with a particular focus on complex tax and trust matters, alongside Wills, Probate, and deputyship work. You will enjoy client contact from the outset, with opportunities to develop lasting relationships and contribute to the department's ongoing growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on trusts, tax planning, probate, deputyships, and estate administration
• Drafting Wills and inheritance tax planning strategies
• Handling Court of Protection matters and complex client files
• Providing strategic, clear advice to a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals
• Assisting with business development and client relationship management
• Supporting junior colleagues and collaborating within a dynamic, growing team

Requirements

• 5+ years PQE in private client law
• Proven expertise in trusts, tax, probate, deputyships, and Wills
• Excellent client care, drafting, and advisory skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
• Strong commercial awareness with an interest in networking and business development
• Experience within a Legal 500 or leading regional practice is advantageous
