A well-established client in the financial services sector is seeking a Front-End Focused Full Stack Engineer to join their technology team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the development of a modern, scalable platform supporting a wide range of financial products and services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-centric applications using a contemporary tech stack, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular 18, PrimeNG, and AG Grid
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and backend engineers to deliver robust features
• Build and support backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 2/3
• Contribute to containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stack
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in front-end development, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry
• Strong proficiency in Angular (v15+), with a solid understanding of RxJS, component architecture, and state management
• Experience with PrimeNG and AG Grid
• Solid backend development experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Desirable Skills

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Understanding of financial APIs, security protocols, or compliance frameworks
