About this role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned solicitor to take a strategic leadership role within a specialist cyber legal team. You'll be at the forefront of incident response, guiding clients through complex cyber crises while shaping the firm's cyber strategy and services. This role offers autonomy, influence, and the chance to lead high-profile, market-defining work.

The Role:

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex data breach and cyber incident matters, taking ownership of client strategy and delivery.
  • Provide strategic advice during live cyber incidents, including ransomware, data ex-filtration, and regulatory reporting, influencing client decision-making at the highest level.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior solicitors and case handlers, building a strong, high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with digital forensics, threat intelligence, and cyber risk specialists, delivering fully integrated incident response solutions.
  • Drive the evolution of the firm's cyber legal services, developing new processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and market strategy, positioning the firm as a leader in cyber law and incident response.

Who We're Looking For:

You will bring:

  • 6+ years PQE with significant experience in high stakes cyber or data breach matters.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of managing teams and complex projects autonomously.
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, able to advise senior clients and influence decision-making.
  • Familiarity with UK cyber insurance market dynamics and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
