Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution (7-10 PQE)

An established and highly respected London-based law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution department. This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute solicitor with 7-10 years' post-qualification experience in civil, property, and commercial litigation.
As part of a progressive and supportive team, you will work directly with the Head of Department, manage a high-value and diverse caseload, and play a key role in departmental growth through business development and mentoring of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of civil, property, and commercial dispute resolution matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Handle contentious probate and inheritance disputes with confidence and professionalism.
- Provide strategic, solution-driven advice to clients, ensuring high levels of client care and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with court and tribunal deadlines while maintaining rigorous file management and reporting standards.
- Take responsibility for supervising and developing junior fee earners, trainees, and support staff.
- Actively engage in networking and business development initiatives to attract new clients and drive growth in the department.
- Meet and exceed set financial targets and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, with 7-10+ years' PQE in dispute resolution.
- Strong track record of independently managing complex disputes and a mixed caseload.
- Proven experience in contentious probate and inheritance claims.
- A personal network of contacts and potential clients is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience of mentoring or supervising junior lawyers or trainees.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to thrive under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with a client-focused, proactive approach.
- Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
