Security Policy Writing - Government - London Hybrid (2 days onsite) - DV / SC Clearance - eligible for DV

I have an immediate opportunity for a Security Policy Specialist to join a major cyber security initiative for our government client. This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can take ownership of tasks, work independently, and deliver results in a busy environment.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates will need to hold British nationality and preferably have active DV clearance or alternatively, active SC clearance and eligibility to go through DV vetting.

You'll be responsible for reviewing and improving existing information security policies, as well as developing new ones that align with organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice. The role involves both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with regular stakeholder engagement and agile governance.

• Strong background in information and cyber security policy within government or regulated environments.
• Experience in policy writing and delivery across multiple organisational levels.
• Ability to work take initiative and ownership of tasks as well as manage priorities efficiently.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST and UK government security standards.
