About the role:

A unique opportunity has arisen for experienced Scrum Masters to join a leading organisation during an exciting period of Agile transformation. Working within a high-security programme landscape, you'll coach, guide, and support Agile teams to improve delivery, optimise value, and embed lasting change.

You'll act as a trusted coach and facilitator across one or more delivery teams, applying Agile principles in a pragmatic way to suit complex project needs. This is a hands-on role that will see you collaborating with a wide network of stakeholders, including engineering, software, and programme leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor Agile teams through their transformation journey
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster self-organising, high-performing teams
  • Support the application of Agile principles in a mixed software and hardware context
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to remove impediments and improve team delivery
  • Tailor Agile practices to suit a unique defence delivery environment
  • Champion continuous improvement across the wider programme and Agile practice
  • Lead effective workshops and ensure outcomes drive meaningful action
  • Help build and nurture a culture of psychological safety, trust, and collaboration

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a technical or complex environment
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Comfortable adapting Agile approaches in a non-traditional environment
  • Experience guiding teams that are early in their Agile adoption
  • Proactive, resilient, and adaptable mindset with a passion for learning
