SC Cleared Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician

Location: Portsmouth (Onsite 5 Days Per Week)

Shifts: Rotational Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)


We are currently seeking a Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician to support testing and troubleshooting activities within a secure engineering environment in Portsmouth.
This role involves working on system and subsystem testing, fault investigation, quality inspection, and test documentation within a highly regulated technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure test equipment
• Execute system and subsystem testing activities
• Perform initial fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Conduct first-level quality inspections
• Prepare test reports and associated documentation
• Support sensor calibration and test facility preparation
• Track and support issue resolution through to closure

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience within systems testing, electronics testing, or RF testing environments
• Familiarity with RF test equipment including:
  • Spectrum Analysers
  • RF Simulators
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work to strict procedures and project timelines
• Good documentation and reporting skills

Clearance Requirements

Candidates must either:

• Hold active SC Clearance, or
• Be a British National eligible to undergo SC Clearance

Due to the nature of the project, all work is fully onsite and subject to additional vetting checks.
