SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant

Location: Worthing or Telford -

Eligibility: Candidates must be UK Nationals. Due to the nature of this role and potential security clearance requirements, this opportunity is open to UK Nationals based in the UK only. SC clearance is not required initially but may be requested at a later stage.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant to join our team, delivering high-quality integration solutions across a complex SAP landscape. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO development, API integrations, and ABAP, with the ability to design and implement integration solutions from functional requirements.
You will work closely with functional, development and testing teams, ensuring successful delivery of integration solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, including ABAP Proxies, IDOCs and RFCs.
• Design SAP PI integration solutions based on functional requirements.
• Develop and support integrations using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Carry out development in accordance with agreed requirements and development standards.
• Produce Unit Test documentation and other technical documentation.
• Liaise with functional and testing teams to resolve issues identified during development and testing.
• Lead technical delivery activities, escalating risks, issues and dependencies where appropriate.
• Deliver work within agreed timescales, quality standards and budget, providing regular progress updates.
• Manage problems and change requests within your area of responsibility.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

Essential Skills

• SAP PI/PO 7.3
• SAP ABAP R/3
• Strong hands-on SAP PI/PO integration development experience
• Strong development experience using SOAP and REST APIs
• Good knowledge of PI adapters including File, JDBC and IDOC
• Experience designing SAP PI integration solutions from business requirements
