A leading regional law firm with a proud heritage and a strong presence across the South is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Residential Property Lawyer to join its well-regarded and growing Property team.

About the Firm:
Since its inception, this established firm has expanded significantly beyond its Southampton roots. With six offices across the South - including locations in Chandlers Ford, Lymington, Winchester, and Richmond (London) - the firm has built a reputation for delivering high-quality legal services with a personal touch.

The Residential Property Team:
The Residential Property department is made up of 14 experienced professionals who advise on the full spectrum of residential conveyancing matters. These include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build transactions
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership schemes
  • Equity release
  • Lease extensions and variations


The Role:
The successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload with minimal supervision, providing clear and practical advice to a broad client base. The role involves handling matters from instruction to post-completion, with full support from a well-structured and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running a full caseload of residential property matters
  • Providing a high standard of client care
  • Developing relationships with agents, referrers and clients
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies


About You:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE
  • Proven experience managing a wide range of residential conveyancing matters
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Client-focused with a collaborative, can-do approach
