A well-regarded and long-established law firm with offices across Surrey is seeking an experienced Residential Property Partner to join its senior team. This is a key strategic hire offering the opportunity to lead an established team, shape the department's future, and contribute at partnership level within a supportive and progressive environment.

The firm is known for its strong client relationships, collaborative culture, and high standards of legal service. With continued growth in the residential conveyancing market, the incoming Partner will play a pivotal role in driving business development and mentoring junior lawyers while managing a varied and high-quality caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the firm's residential property offering across multiple offices
  • Manage a full caseload including freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters
  • Drive business development initiatives and cultivate existing and new referral sources
  • Provide supervision and support to junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and excellence
  • Collaborate with other partners on strategic decisions and firm-wide projects
  • Ensure all transactions are compliant with regulatory and quality standards


Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with at least 8 years' experience in residential property law
  • Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
  • Proven experience in supervising or leading a team
  • A client-focused and proactive approach
  • Demonstrable success in business development, with a portable client following or referral network being advantageous
  • Committed to high standards of client care and professional conduct
