An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer to join the growing Residential Property team at a well-regarded and long-established law firm with offices in Romsey and Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and technically strong conveyancer looking to develop their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
  • Work as part of a well-established team, consisting of five partners and nine fee-earners across the department
  • Work independently while benefiting from the support of an experienced and friendly team
  • Maintain accurate time recording and meet agreed billing targets
  • Play an active role in developing the profile of the department and endorsing the firm's core values


Key Tasks Include:

  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Managing re-mortgages, new build purchases, transfers of equity, and Help to Buy transactions
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
  • Delivering high standards of client service at all times


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a proven track record of managing a broad range of residential property transactions
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a confident level of technical knowledge and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Show commercial awareness and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Be enthusiastic, positive, and committed to continuous learning and development
