Residential Conveyancer - Highcliffe
A well-established and highly regarded law firm with deep roots in the local community is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team at its Highcliffe office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled conveyancer to take on a varied caseload and play a key role in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The position offers real long-term prospects, including a potential route to Partnership for the right candidate.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage and run their own caseload from start to finish, with supervision available depending on experience. Work will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (registered and unregistered)
- New builds and plot sales
- Remortgages and property finance
- Transfers of equity
- Easements
- Option agreements and conditional contracts
In addition to fee-earning, the role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting wider business development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
- A Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced non-qualified fee earner
- Ideally 4+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing within a law firm
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property
- Comfortable working independently, with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience of more complex matters such as easements and option agreements is desirable
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- A team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality service
- Commercially minded and eager to contribute to the development of the department
