About the Role


Henderson Scott is proud to be exclusively partnering with a reputable and expanding regional law firm to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy property department based in South London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified conveyancer or solicitor who is confident managing a full caseload and is looking to take the next step in their legal career within a friendly, modern and client-focused firm.

Key Responsibilities


As a Residential Conveyancer, you will be responsible for handling a broad mix of conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build transactions
  • Lease extensions and Help to Buy
  • Shared ownership and unregistered land
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and external professionals
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, particularly the Private Client department
  • Contributing to business development and referrer relationship management

What We're Looking For


We are keen to speak with conveyancing professionals who have:

  • 2+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in residential property law
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Excellent knowledge of conveyancing procedures and legal documentation
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • A client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Confidence using digital platforms and case management systems (LEAP experience beneficial)
  • A proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach
