A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (minimum 3 years' PQE) or Legal Executive to join its highly regarded Private Client team in either the Guildford or Reading office.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a property lawyer to support a well-established Residential Conveyancing unit, handling a mixed caseload of complex and high-value transactions. The successful candidate will manage a full and varied caseload and must demonstrate the technical expertise to advise confidently on a range of residential property matters.

The role offers exposure to high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients, dealing with prime London and country residences, leasehold and freehold matters, refinancing, new builds, and portfolio acquisitions. The position provides a chance to work closely with recognised leaders in the field on challenging, rewarding work.

The Team
The Residential Property team operates within a broader Private Client unit and is known for providing exceptional service to HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, family businesses, and professionals. The team is recognised for its attention to detail, commercial insight, and the ability to mirror the high standards expected in the business lives of its clients.

The Ideal Candidate
Applicants will be experienced conveyancers with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in working with discerning clients on complex transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Experience with high-value or complex transactions
  • First-class academic background and strong training record
  • A proactive, commercial, and client-focused approach
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for business development
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, professional manner

The Opportunity
