A leading, progressive UK law firm is seeking an experienced Partner to join its growing Property Disputes team in London. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established disputes specialist looking to play a key role in shaping and expanding a high-performing practice.
The Role
You will take a lead position within the Property Disputes team, handling complex and high-value commercial property disputes while driving business growth and client development. Working closely with the Head of Property Disputes and the wider Real Estate group, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the practice and support delivery of the firm's broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on complex and high-profile real estate dispute matters
- Maintain and grow a strong client portfolio, delivering consistently high levels of service
- Develop and execute business development and client growth strategies
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, ensuring effective file management and performance
- Drive team performance against financial and operational KPIs
- Build relationships with referrers, clients, and external experts
- Contribute to thought leadership and raise the profile of the practice in the market
- Support wider firm initiatives and collaborate across teams
About You
- Established Partner or Senior Legal Director with significant experience in commercial property disputes
- Strong technical expertise and reputation within real estate disputes
- Demonstrable track record in business development and converting opportunities into revenue
- Existing client following and a clear business plan for growth
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and client management skills
- Commercially astute, with a focus on profitability and strategic development
