Project Manager - Civil Engineering - 15 month contract - Leeds Hybrid (2 days onsite)

I have a great opportunity for a Project Manager with a background working within Civil Engineering based locally to Leeds for a long-term project.

You will join a busy centralised team and provide strong client-side control over delivery, ensuring health, safety and environmental priorities are met while projects move from strategy and feasibility into detailed design and construction.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within sectors such as rail, construction, highways, water or nuclear.
• Experience of contract management within an engineering or construction environment.
• Active approach to managing health, safety and well-being on projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to build effective, collaborative relationships.
• Confident user of MS Office tools including Teams, Excel, Word and Project.
• Based within a reasonable commuting distance of Leeds and able to travel across Yorkshire

Desirable:

• Experience of FastDraft, Projects Online and NEC4 contracts.
• Chartered membership (or working towards) of a professional body such as ICE, APM or CIWEM.
• Background in an engineering, environmental or geography-related discipline, or equivalent experience, with technical insight into areas such as asset management, business case development, cost monitoring, scope preparation, CDM, design, construction or river modelling.
