Position Available: Senior Electronics Project Manager

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 - £68,000 DoE + Bonus

Experience needed: A background in electronic engineering and development, with solid technical knowledge and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic products and units, combined with a strong understanding of project management best practices.

About the role

As an Electronics Project Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the delivery of advanced electronic equipment. From concept through to production, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is not a hands-on engineering role, but your background in electronics will allow you to confidently understand and discuss complex technical concepts with engineering teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective decision-making.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience managing complex projects to successful delivery, on time and in budget
• A background in electronics engineering, with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts/topics
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems and products
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques such as risk management, budget management, earned value tracking, and baseline management
• Experience leading projects across all phases, from conception and initiation through to manufacture, qualification, and customer delivery
• A technical/educational background in electronics is highly desirable
