We are seeking a Construction Professional Negligence Associate to join a top-tier Legal 500 law firm in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage high-value, complex construction and professional indemnity claims, working alongside a collaborative team of experienced lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of contentious construction and professional indemnity matters, including claims strategy, risk management, and dispute resolution.

• Advise construction professionals and insurers on errors, omissions, defects, and related financial claims.

• Handle complex construction insurance matters, maintaining strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused legal solutions.

• Work closely with a high-performing team, contributing to the effective management and progression of complex claims.

• Support business development initiatives, including client engagement and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 2-5 years' post-qualification experience within a top-tier Legal 500 firm or comparable practice, specialising in construction professional indemnity and contentious construction matters.

• Proven ability to advise clients and insurers on construction claims, professional indemnity, and related insurance disputes.

• Strong commercial and technical legal expertise, with excellent decision-making and leadership skills.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and client management abilities.

• No specific academic qualifications beyond professional legal qualification are required, though candidates will have demonstrated practical experience in this field.
