Private Client Solicitor / FCILEx (2+ PQE)

Location: Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (pro rata for part-time)
Working pattern: Flexible working available

We are recruiting for a Private Client Solicitor or FCILEx (2+ PQE) to join a friendly and supportive Private Client team based in Tunbridge Wells.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning

• Trusts

• Probate and estate administration

• Lasting Powers of Attorney

In addition, you will:

• Provide clear, empathetic and practical legal advice to clients

• Manage billing and cashflow effectively

• Meet targets for time recording, billing and cost recovery

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Participate in marketing and networking activities to promote the firm's services

• Ensure compliance with Lexcel standards and regulatory obligations

About You

• Solicitor or FCILEx with 2+ years' PQE in Private Client work

• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team

• Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset

• Positive, client-focused approach

• Strong organisational and communication skills
