Private Client Solicitor - Stratford

The Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a wide-ranging caseload, advising clients on all aspects of private client law. This includes drafting wills, administering estates, preparing lasting powers of attorney, and providing advice on tax and succession planning. You will work directly with clients, often at sensitive times in their lives, requiring a professional yet empathetic approach.

This position is 100% office-based at the firm's Stratford office. Please note there is no hybrid or remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning matters.
• Advising on inheritance tax and succession planning.
• Preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney.
• Administering estates and advising executors and beneficiaries.
• Maintaining the highest standards of client service and compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in private client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning.
• Excellent client care skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• STEP qualification or progress towards this is desirable but not essential.
